Fabulous Cogswell & Harrison "The Regency" 12 ga. deluxe pair of grouse guns, 26" barrels choked .009/.028, feature original 2-3/4" chambers and raised concave game ribs. The scalloped boxlock actions are engraved in a deep cut acanthus pattern and retain almost all of the original vibrant case colors of purple and blues. Truly deluxe late production guns, the barrels are inlaid in gold with "The Regency", gold plated double triggers. Straight hand stocks of outstanding French walnut, deep in color and contrast and exhibiting burl and black figure throughout and fitted with full leather pads. The splinter forends employ Southgate ejectors, both stocks and forends exhibit fine unspoiled checkering. The actions, barrels, and serial numbers are all inlaid in gold and indicate the high standard of finish to these guns. At 6-1/4 lbs, they should be fast handling in the grouse butt, or over your dogs! Cased in the original leather motor case with trade label.
