.44 caliber, 7 ½" barrel with two leaf folding site barrel site. Ex-Sutherland collection and featured in the Sutherland-Wilson book, page 99, the revolver is believed to have been shipped in 1859 to England for display purposes. In beautiful original condition retaining most of the barrel blue, with an excellent cylinder scene. The loading lever, hammer, and frame showing much of the original case hardened finish. Nice grip with some handling marks and generous amounts of original varnish. The back strap has nearly all of the silver, the front strap and trigger showing some wear. Exceptional.
