.31 caliber, 4" full octagon barrel with the two line New York address. Serial range 81430. Early soft blue and case colors. Mfg. 1853. The barrel retains 99% original blue, the cylinder 97-98% blue with a perfect scene and some very slight evidence of flaking. All of the early case hardened finish is present on the frame, hammer, and loading lever. Superb grips and varnish. Screws are excellent. Exceptional.
