.400/360 {Purdey] nitro express caliber, 28" steel barrels with folding express sights. Back action locks with bolted safeties and underlever opening. Checkered forend and pistol grip buttstock measuring 14 3/4" over a hardrubber English pad. Factory engraved sling swivel and button. A beautiful example retaining areas of original casehardened finish on the action and locks. The barrels showing all of the blue were built by Daniel Fraser, Edinburgh in about 1900 so as to convert the cartridge to the Purdey 400/360. Very crisp bores. In it's original Alex Henry pigskin linned leather case.
