16 bore, 30" full octagon barrel with three leaf folding express sights. Bar lock with stalking safety and set trigger. Ebonized (black lacquered) checkered stock with horn forend cap. The Purdey factory records state that the rifle was built 6 Aug, 1830 and the particulars include the black lacquered stock. In lovely untouched original condition with an excellent bore.
