.58 caliber breechloading action, 20" barrel, parts finished bright. Walnut forend and buttstock with the U.S. inspector's cartouche visible on the stock in front of the uppertang. Retaining much of the bright on the metal with some freckle staining overall, but showing smooth surfaces. Very fine wood with evidence of use. Crisp cartouche. Very scarce.
